My dad passed away suddenly on Tuesday. He was 64, and this was totally unexpected. I'm mad as hell at him, not only because he deprived me of a good 20 years of teasing him for being an old man, but because he was the GOOD grandpa - the one who bounced babies on his knee, wiggled loose teeth (and always pulled them) and tried to trick you into licking the dog's nose (it's brown because it's made

of chocolate!).

I'm pretty mad that instead of getting to know Big Bad Bob, my kids will have to just hear stories from me about how awesome he was. And they'll never quite get it. I already miss him more than words can possibly describe. Please excuse me in the coming weeks and months as I fill your ears with stories about my amazing dad
