I agree, that boy needs a haircut.
I was mostly successful on the cutting, though I admit it is crooked in parts.
Taking the after photo, however, proved impossible.

DID THEY EAT IT?
Today in the DID THEY EAT IT adventures: Nilla pudding!
They like Nilla wafers (who doesn't?), they like bananas, but do you think they'd eat this?
Gus took one bite, declared it "delicious" and went off to slay dragons.
Nova took one bite, and spit it out.
She then picked the nillas out, grabbed the kitchen towel, and wiped all remains of pudding off so she could eat the cookie.
Which she did while holding it with the towel.
I guess that's a big NO. Come on, monsters! Do you know how hard it is to make meringue without an electric mixer?

REMEMBER THE DRUMS?
Does anyone remember this little urchin?
(I hardly recognize him myself!) Back when the shop was in the old building, Gus had free reign of a drum set on a daily basis. He loved it, and it was fun to let him wail on the drums. He got a reprise this week when one of the bands that played at our record show left a piece of his set:
