NAPPING

Napping is sort of a loose term around here. If Dave and I aren't both home at nap time, then we have to get Nova to sleep before we can rock Gus down. Then, if you're lucky, they'll both stay asleep for at least 10 minutes. Yesterday, I was laying on the couch and Gus woke up mid-nap. I laid the little girl down for a minute while I rocked him again.


She looked pretty comfy on the couch by herself.

RASPBERRIES

Last year, we were out of town when the raspberries were ripe. This year, Gus isn't going to miss out.


Breakfast, lunch, and dinner: Gus has had a lot of raspberries this week.

This little monster is doing quite well. We don't have a lot of photos of the two together yet. Gus is learning to be gentle when he's around his sister, but it's hard to grab the camera when we're trying to keep him from hugging too much. He's showing off for our visitors and generally having a great time being a big brother.

Like her brother, Nova is a little jaundiced. We're resting in sunbeams, which is much more fun than bilirubin lights.


Gus absolutely adores his new sister. When he's not trying to throw himself on top of her, he's throwing toys into her basinette.



He's keeping himself busy, though. And we're glad for some nice weather!
