I didn't expect Gus to sleep on the plane at all. So when he completely conked out on the ride home, I was pretty surprised. I barely had time to shove somethig soft under his head before it hit the armrest.

The only horse Gus got to ride in Colorado was red and white and made out of wood.


He didn't mind, though. This lil' guy was made by my Grandpa Clay 30 years ago for Dane. That's quality workmanship, right there.

RAIN, RAIN

Usually, we bring photos of the beautiful mountains home from Colorado. Not this time - this time it rained a whole lot. We even saw snow!

Gus took advantage of the 10 minutes of sunshine we got. Bumpa & GT had to bundle him up, though. Does anyone recogize that Dakota Electric hat?

RUBY

This isn't a great photo of Gus, but it's a great photo of Ruby (the bulldog). I don't think she minded having two little houseguests. In fact, she rather seemed to enjoy it.

AIRPORT

The kids and I took a trip to Colorado. The only thing that kept them busy at the airport: watching planes!
