ZOO-ING

The polar bear exhibit is actually quite neat. Last time we were there, it was packed with people and we weren't really able to get a good look. This time we had better luck.

The kids liked the section that had fish swimming around in it, but I liked seeing the polar bears up close.

ZOO-ING

The kids loved the monkey house, as the always do. This time Nova got really interested, staring into the glass, and waving "Hi" to the spider monkeys.

Gus did some waving too.

ZOO-ING

I took the monsters to the zoo last week. The weather was beautiful and the zoo was deserted, a big change from the last time we attempted a visit.

The kids were so well behaved, I thought maybe they had been switched with someone else's monsters. Here's two photos of them watching the flamingos and the ducks. More photos to come! (and don't the corduroy patches on Gus's elbows make you swoon?)

THIS MONSTER

Watch out! This monster has learned how to tickle!

PRETTY DRESS

Nova walks around pulling on her clothes, saying "pretty pretty".

SOUND ASLEEP

Nobody believes me when I tell them, so here's proof. My son can fall out of bed and stay completely asleep. It's quite a talent, if you ask me.

THE GUS TOUR

I took the camera from him and shut it off - it hadn't occurred to me that he had figured out to take photos with it until I loaded them on the computer. I present to you (unaltered) Gus's walking tour of our house:
