Last week we went to the Minnesota Zoo with our friends Hale & Pela. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Whenever you go to the zoo with children, GET THERE WHEN THEY OPEN.


The animals are awake and usually active, and you don't have to fight the dreaded stroller wars.

NOVA & HER BEST

As you may know, we have been hosting live music every week at Hymie's. Our friend Eric runs the sound for the bands, and his pal Tyler often tags along too.

Gus & Nova love Eric and Tyler (or ET, as they are sometimes called) Eric teaches Gus new dance moves, and Tyler hangs with Nova. If you ask Nova about Tyler, she always responds in the same way, “Tyler is my best!”

Dave has been taking photos of them when they hang out at the record store. Tyler is totally her best!
