NEW HAT
It's impossible to get Gus to sit still so I can show you the new hat I made him.

(had to bribe him with a cookie, but at least you can see it!)

GINGERBREAD BAKING
While we were in Fargo, our friend Ann let Gus help with gingerbread cookies. He was skeptical at first.

But then he dived right in.

He liked the flour,

but he liked the dough even more.

Ann is very good at making gingerbread.

It was delicious even before baking!

Gus was a pretty good helper,

and Nova sat and looked at the lights on the Christmas tree (I love that double chin!)

Then she promptly fell asleep.

Which is too bad because she missed the best part.

Eating the cookies!

T. Rex helped us clean up the crumbs.

Thanks, Ann!

IN THE TOASTER
(and the guilty party, trying to get the crayons back). The green crayon has been there for a few weeks, and I finally got it out. I think I'm going to find a new place for the toaster!

BUILDING WITH BLOCKS
Gus finally discovered that building with blocks is more fun than throwing the blocks. Everyone in this house (especially Mo, Roo, & Irene) are grateful for this.
