TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME!

Took the kids to a baseball game at the metrodome. Thanks to a friend, we had great seats.


Gus was impressed.

Gus ate popcorn.
A lot of popcorn.




It was probably the last time I'll see the inside of the metrodome for a Twins game, and it was the first time Gus & Nova were there. It was a great way to go out.


And we got to take the train home! Yay!

Gus & I like to sit on the back steps, and enjoy our morning coffee*.


*Gus does not actually drink coffee.

TOMATOES!

Time to harvest the early crop of tomatoes! Gus likes picking them a lot, although he doesn't have a reputation for always picking ripe tomatoes.


Momma & Poppa skinned and seeded all the tomatoes, and Gus played in the kitchen.


Nova slept through the whole process!


We cooked them with herbs and onions from the garden, until we had a giant pot of sauce.


And after it was all cooked down, we canned them for this winter!

IT'S HOT

This may be inappropriate (the neighbors certainly thought so) but it was hot and his swimsuit was all the way upstairs. Naked boy in the yard!

Before Gus's trip, we went to the zoo. Gus saw a tractor!


Gus saw goats!




Gus saw chickens!

ALL BY OURSELVES

Dave and Gus are traveling without us, so Nova and I are all by ourselves for a few days.


We're running the store and having a nice rest. There won't be many photos for the next few days, the boys took the camera and pictures are hard to take on photo booth:


They come out all grainy. Here's a nice one of Nova relaxing at the store this morning while I got some work done.
