FIRST SNOW

A WHOLE WEEK TOGETHER!

Poppa got to spend the whole week at home with Laura and August, and what a fun time we had working on all kinds of projects - building new basement steps, painting pictures, making quilts, and brewing beer!


A new book came in the mail for Gus from Aunt Maureen and Uncle Bob. He was excited to look at it!


But later he rested and snuggled with Momar. You have probably already seen the other picture we posted of them together. Here you can see they were sitting comfortably on Momma's lap.


And August discovered the tupperware containers in the kitchen cabinet, some of which make fine hats.


And he also helped me brew a batch of stout this weekend, making sure it was sealed tight inside the carboy for fermentation.

FITTING IN

You could say that the kitten is fitting in rather nicely. He plays with the dog, the other cat is warming up to him, and Gus loves him. We named him Momar.

SNEAKS

Gus got these Converse sneakers back when he was just 2 months old. He's finally grown into them!

He's not used to hard soles yet, but he likes the laces.

NEW FRIEND

We brought a new friend home today.


He doesn't have a name yet, and everyone is adjusting to our new addition.

UNDER THE WEATHER

I'm sorry for the lack of regular posts. Momma and Poppa have been under the weather, and Gus has been hogging the bed. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon!

GUS ON THE TRAIN

VISITING VIRGINIA

August got to visit Virginia this weekend. He saw his great grandmother again.


He wasn't quite as polite as the first time he met her. This time he squirmed and wanted to get down. She was still glad to see him, though.


Gus also got to see a lot of cousins and relatives. Cousin Jack really liked to hold him.


And he visited for awhile with Cousin Jenna


and Uncle John!
